Why Savory Citrus Ginger?

It's designed to complement seafood, chicken, and vegetables with its fresh and tangy notes, balanced by a subtle heat. In this recipe, it transforms salmon into a show-stopping dish

Ingredients

For the Salmon:

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tbsp olive oil

• 2 tbsp Savory Citrus Ginger seasoning

For the Glaze:

2 tbsp honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

Zest and juice of 1 orange

1 tsp fresh grated ginger (optional for extra kick)

Optional Garnish

Fresh cilantro, chopped

Orange slices

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil

Season the Salmon:

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Rub each fillet with olive oil, then sprinkle evenly with 2 tbsp of Savory Citrus Ginger seasoning.

Prepare the Glaze

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey, soy sauce, orange zest, orange juice, and fresh ginger (if using)

Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened

Glaze the Salmon:

Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down

Brush the glaze generously over the top of each fillet, reserving a little for serving

Bake the Salmon

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork

For a caramelized finish, broil on high for the last 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning

Drizzle the reserved glaze over the salmon before serving

Garnish with fresh cilantro and orange slices for a vibrant presentation
