Ingredients 

1 lb ground beef (80/20 fat ratio recommended) 

1 1⁄2 tbsp Salice Seasoning Better Steak blend 

4 slices of cheddar or American cheese 

4 burger buns 

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted 

Toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, ketchup, and mayo 

Instructions 

Season the Beef

In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with Salice Seasoning Better Steak blend until evenly combined. Divide into 4 equal portions and roll into balls

Preheat the Skillet or Griddle: 

Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until very hot. No oil is necessary, as the beef will release its own fat

Smash the Burgers

Place one beef ball onto the hot skillet and immediately smash it down with a spatula or burger press to form a thin patty. Hold for 10-15 seconds. Repeat with the remaining beef balls
